How can I check the status of my BDO credit card application?

To check your BDO credit card application status, you may visit the bank's website directly. You will then be asked to input your TIN and SSS number.

If still in process, it will be labeled as "pending." If the application is unsuccessful, it will be labeled as "declined." For approved credit card applications, the card will be delivered to the address you stated in the application form.

How soon will I know if I'm approved?

Typically, it takes seven (7) banking days upon complete submission of documents to find out whether your credit card application has been approved. All application are subject to evaluation and final approval of BDO.

How can I settle my card billing and how much is the minimum monthly payment?

You can settle your credit card dues via online payment or at any BDO branch. Minimum payment is at 3% of your outstanding balance (less installment amortization, if any). You must pay it in full, and this includes the total amount of dues and excess of the overall credit limit.

How will I receive my approved credit card from BDO?

Once approved, your BDO credit card will be delivered to your home address within seven banking days from the date of the approval.

Applicants with existing cards
  • Photocopy of latest BIR Form 2316 and Certificate of Employment (COE) or latest full month payslip
  • Photocopy of last two (2) months' credit card statement of account
  • Government issued ID
First time applicants (Employed)
  • Photocopy of latest BIR Form 2316 signed by employer's authorized representative
  • Original copy of Certificate of Employment and Income (COEI) indicating status, length of service, and compensation breakdown
  • Photocopy of latest full month payslip
Self Employed
  • Photocopy of Registration of Business Name
  • Photocopy of latest ITR and W4 with BIR/Bank Stamp
  • Audited Financial Statements for the last two years; OR
  • Bank Statements for the last three months

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be at least 21 years old and not over 70 upon card application.
  • You must be a Filipino citizen or a foreigner who is residing in the Philippines for the last 2 years.
  • You must be a regular employee or if self-employed your business must be operating for at least 2 years.
  • You must have at least one office or home landline and a mobile phone number.
