Do you consider star power before transacting with your bank of choice?

As more and more Filipinos have become smarter at handling money in their journey toward financial freedom, competition among local banks has never been tighter. It has come to a point where every institution has to have a familiar face to help get their messages across.

“Celebrity endorsers allow a brand to connect better to consumers because they already have a connection with the public,” Allan Tumaga, EastWest Bank’s head of marketing and public relations, told the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

Here, we’ve compiled the superstar brand ambassadors of  top banks in the country for your convenience.

Well, maybe RCBC wanted to make sure no one gets left behind. “For RCBC Savings Bank, we want to show through the It Girls that customers can rely on us for their major life decisions,” says RCBC Savings Bank Corporate Communications and Marketing Services Head Donna Marcelo on their website. “With RSB’s consumer loan products such as MyWheels-Auto Loan, MyHome-Housing Loan, MyBiz-SME Loan, and MyCash-Personal Loan, buying a new house or a new car is simple, affordable, and easy. With MyLoans’ easy payment terms, competitive rates and payment options, it is the smarter choice.”
