Being only two hours away from Metro Manila, Laguna is quite well known as a great place for a quick and affordable out-of-town getaway.

But there are other affordable resorts in Laguna other than Pansol, a barangay full of hot spring private pools with the water coming from Mount Makiling. With hundreds of options to choose from, which one should you book for your quick weekend getaway?

1. Nagcarlan Forest Resort

Go against the herd who are off enjoying Laguna’s hot spring resorts and instead take a dip in the cold, natural spring waters at the Nagcarlan Forest Resort. You can choose to swim in their warm pools or in their mini falls–wherever you feel like basking in the areas natural beauty.

2. Aquascape, Lake Caliraya
