6 min readIn a predominantly Catholic country such as the Philippines, the Holy Week is one of the most observed holidays on the calendar.
To give way for reflection on the Passion of Christ, businesses and establishments halt operations and close for a few days during Holy Week. The government has also declared Maundy Thursday (March 29) to Good Friday (March 30) as regular holidays, and Black Saturday (March 31) a special non-working holiday.

Below are the adjusted hours of operation for malls and banks this Holy Week 2018 to help guide your activities and whereabouts.
