Oriental Assurance Corporation

The Oriental Assurance Corporation was founded in 1962 by Gonzalo Cotoco, who previously worked as an agent for other companies. After establishing his own insurance company, he became the first chairman and president of Oriental. The company then grew from its humble beginnings to one of the largest insurers in the Philippines.

Oriental has an assortment of non-life insurance products for both private and commercial entities. Among the products they offer are car, marine, cargo, fire, aviation, merchandise floater, and bond.
